Terms of Service
The basic rules for using ActionWatch.
Last updated: August 14, 2026
Acceptance #
By accessing or using ActionWatch, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service Description #
ActionWatch is a GitHub Actions observability product that provides dashboards, diagnostics, alerts, reporting, and related analytics features for GitHub Actions data.
Accounts and Access #
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and any systems you connect to ActionWatch.
- You must have the authority to connect repositories, installations, and billing entities to the service.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account or credentials.
Acceptable Use #
- Do not use ActionWatch to violate law, regulation, or the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Do not use the service in a way that materially harms its stability, availability, or security.
Aggregate and Derived Data #
You grant ActionWatch the right to compute, retain, and use aggregate, de-identified statistics derived from the GitHub Actions telemetry processed for your account, and to present those aggregates to other customers as comparative benchmarks — for example, how your workflow queue delay compares with the median for organizations of a similar size.
These aggregates consist only of counts, durations, rates, and distribution summaries such as medians and percentiles. They never include repository names, commit messages, commit contents, branch names, workflow file contents, secrets, environment variables, log output, or the identity of any user or commit author.
Aggregates are derived from your telemetry but are not a copy of it, and ActionWatch retains them independently of the underlying data. They therefore survive the deletion of the source records and the closure of your account.
No customer is identifiable in any aggregate ActionWatch publishes. A comparative statistic is only shown when its peer group is large enough that no single organization can be inferred from it, and ActionWatch applies a minimum peer-group size for that purpose.
ActionWatch does not sell your data, and does not license or otherwise supply these aggregates to third parties as a product. This section describes a permitted use of your data inside the service; benchmarks are not a feature ActionWatch offers today.
Billing and Subscriptions #
Paid features may require an active subscription. Pricing, renewal, and payment handling may be managed through Stripe. If payment is not completed or a subscription ends, ActionWatch may reduce or remove access to paid functionality.
Availability and Changes #
ActionWatch may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain unchanged indefinitely.
Disclaimers #
ActionWatch is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Limitation of Liability #
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ActionWatch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
Termination #
We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if payment obligations are not met, or if continued service would create security, legal, or operational risk.
